There definitely shouldn’t be entire industries reliant on their low-wage labor. Why are there many kids being scheduled for a 6 hour shift after a 7 hour school day when they’ve got learning and their future and their childhood to worry about?
Any industry built on poverty wage child labor should perish, and that’s most fast food and grocery and retail so I guess the economy’s tanked 🤷. Should’ve thought about that before deciding to make the essential work into jobs for children and the underclass.
Fun fact this idea that high school kids need to work part time ruined my life! Dad thought I needed to have a job cause he did when I was his age and when I told him I was suicidal he told me I needed to go to the doctor instead of working less hours. He didn’t take me to the doctor and I ended up dropping out of high school because it wasn’t an option to quit my job. Kept working for a good while though haha
This is probably too embarrassing to post anywhere else but I’m still kind of in disbelief at how sad Zelda’s story is in totk. (I’ve done pretty much everything but the final final boss so if somehow she regains humanity or something idk, I also thought maybe the puppet zelda was time nonsense and she had a super elaborate plan to seemingly do bad things just to set things in motion but that was too much credit) I kept thinking over and over that there was gonna be some cop out nintendo fairy tale ending answer but it really seems unlikely now. Like, she already held calamity Ganon alone for 100 years, who knows how long she was conscious, but now this? She’s crying, how much of her is left? How ancient are we talking? Thousands of years? Is she mindless or not? I’ll feel silly if it’s literally just the final boss keeping me from knowing but like. It’s actually so incredibly sad to think about.

The people that contribute to these databases are either stolen from or are paid usually less than min wage.
